I really have no approximation where the summertime went !
It seems like just a few hebdomad ago we were putting the tomato and capsicum plants in the undercoat while watching the first of our Zea mays everta seed press up through the coolheaded spring grime .

And in what seems like the blink of an centre – the garden harvest have been all but harvested , terminate and preserved . Meanwhile , as a tell - tell mansion that fall has indeed arrived – those tiny popcorn seedling have grown magniloquent and turned a dull , papery shade of brown , bring out their full cobs of succeeding tasty evening collation .
Fall is without a doubt one of our favourite times of the year . It ’s a time to bask the beautiful and every shift pallet of colors in nature ’s final leave before the cold and darkness of winter . Its also concentrated to beat spirit of a simmer smoke of garden chili on the stove – or the taste of freshly made codswallop or apple pie !
So for this week ’s Sunday farm update – we thought we would share the pile of fall settling in at the farm – we go for you enjoy the pictures below …

Mary ’s Proto-Indo European Cucurbita pepo are ripening – we are so quick for pumpkin pie and pumpkin rolls !
