These models can’t strike a pose, but they also don’t need hours in the makeup chair
Hey GPODers ! Today we ’re taking a different look at a garden , an up - tight perspective of the flowers Sarah Oneil grows in her Minnesota garden .
I stumbled on your article and wanted to share my garden ! I live in MN so it ’s critical to enjoy all the warm weather months !
Happy horticulture ! !

We ’ve see plenitude of industrial plant close - ups over the year , but Sarah has a room of get these flowers in their best brightness level . In photography , this is called a “ beauty shot , ” a close up shot or scene that captivates the viewer with the special attraction of the subject . When reckon of this type of photography , most would adjure the image of framework in editorial options , but Sarah ’s discipline ca n’t pose or alteration outfits .
A garden pest never looked so upright ! While most gardeners would be rushing to pinch this Japanese beetle off their wanted dahlia , Sarah saw a moment of beauty to be captivate . What a great way to view pests from a dissimilar perspective .
But , of course , thedahliasthat beetle was munching on are even more breathtaking . Sunset colors on flowers are always a gain ground combination .

Yet another sensational slant of this reasonably pink and yellow bloom .
Another Brobdingnagian , pretty pinkish flower . I trust this is a Luna ™ Rose hibiscus ( Hibiscusmoscheutos‘Luna Rose’,Zones 5–9 ) .
Another show - terminate hibiscus radiance in the sun , this clip a regal ‘ Kopper King ’ ( Hibiscusmoscheutos‘Kopper King’,Zones 4–10 ) .

Another shot of the ‘ Kopper King ’ hibiscus , this time include more of that arresting , two - toned foliation that inspire its royal claim .
We get a little preview of these promising pinkcosmosacting as backup in the hibiscus knockout shot above , but this stunner does n’t need to be submit to the desktop . Just like the rest of these flower , Sarah captured this small but mighty bloom in the staring brightness to capture its outstanding color .
Last but not least , one final pink bloom so stuffed full of petals that it ’s hard to tell where one flower end and the next start . I consider this beauty is a Chater ’s Double Rose hollyhock ( Alcearosea‘Chater ’s Double Rose’,Zones 3–9 ) .

Thank you for these inspiring pic , Sarah — I’m for certain feeling inspire to take my industrial plant picture taking to the next level !
