The hardy barbellate pear , Opuntiawoodsii(Zones 5–9 ) , has beautiful flowers . In addition to them , this one has pad that stay unshakable and upright during the wintertime rather than shriveling up and collapsing in the coldness like so many of the stale - unfearing briery pears do .
Cotyledon orbiculatalooks like it would be a tender plant , but it can survive into Zone 6 in the right conditions . It has beautiful silver fine-grained farewell and bright orangish flowers .
Castillejaintegra(Zones 4–8 ) withPenstemonheterophyllus(Zones 6–10 ) flush together in the bounce . Both will rebloom if bring down back before they set seed .

Echinocereus triglochidatus(Zones 6–9 ) is an unbelievable hardy cactus . This especial plant is special to Nich because it was pick out by his hubby , Robb , out of thousands of plant for its flower sizing , coloring , and overall pattern . Clearly Robb has good tasting !
