Here ’s what Cherry had to say :

wintertime is the meter of year when I miss gardening , so I attempt to squeeze in some garden crafts with my holiday decorating . Here are a few photo from last wintertime ’s outdoor and indoor vacation interior decoration .
My best decorating trick was with a bag of cranberry for my American aloe . The berries are unadulterated for my big blueAgave ovatifolia‘Frosty Blue ’ ( Zones 7–9 ) . They ’re economical and compostable , too , when the time of year is over .
Of course , the season would not be all over without tonic lei hung on the front and back door . Costco sells the best fresh wreaths around , but I take out all the goodies and design and seize my own . My goody are a compounding of foraged and fund purchase .

I lie with that Cherry uses a computer memory - bought wreath as a base for these creation . I do n’t have the skills to make a whole wreath , but I could surely add in highlights turn off from the garden !
Anything left over gets clipped and arrange into florals for the holiday tabular array .
More leftovers arrange only for a board - top display .

Avid GPODers probably remember the moss and pine - retinal cone arrangement from a premature vacation Charles William Post . Here I impart an antler and some glass balls for some playfulness .
Wishing you all joyfulness through the season . I know I feel joy as I scrounge through my garden and trim my Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree and nursing home with fresh leafy vegetable and berries .
