While gathering edible blooms from the wilderness this hebdomad , I notice that the scented geranium are blooming indoors in the nursery . The plants in thePelargoniumgenus are fairly easy to cultivate — they are raw perennials — so I grow them in pots as houseplants .

Most of these recurrent herb are mature as houseplants , as they are very lovesome . If cultivated in pots , they can easy be moved indoors and outdoors as the weather permits . They like full sun but will tolerate some shade , and they need a well - drained farm mass medium . Without pruning , some plants can grow quite large , reaching 3 to 4 feet in summit and width . They have a leaning to get leggy , so pruning is recommended .
